REVOLUTION ROWING'S MISSION IS TO INCREASE ACCESS TO THE SPORT OF ROWING BY PROVIDING AFFORDABLE, HIGH QUALITY EQUIPMENT.

Ever since Revolution Rowing Founder, Jim Pickens, picked up an oar 24 years ago, his life has revolved around the sport of rowing.  He has introduced countless numbers of people into the sport through his work coaching masters, junior and collegiate rowers.  

As a die-hard rowing enthusiast, Jim has owned and subsequently sold just about every brand of boat or piece of equipment available.  He has been designing, modifying and selling rowing equipment for almost two decades.  

Revolution Rowing is the culmination of Jim's ideas on how to improve upon the current rowing technology, with the desire to increase access to the sport of rowing.  All of our products are proudly made in the USA using a "keep it simple approach" during the design process.  Unlike the rest of the rowing industry, we use little to no composites in our manufacturing.  Using plastic molding techniques such as vacuum forming, rotational molding, injection molding and drape forming, we can produce high quality products at an outstanding value right here in the USA.  We want to make sure that when we hand a product over to you it is durable, intuitive, attractive and, most of all, a great value.  You can be assured that you will receive great products because we use and abuse the equipment that we manufacture on a daily basis as rowers and coaches.
